Dear Friends,

My friend and I came along 4 weeks ago to adopt a cat, and came away with a little tabby who you had called Tabby.

Just wanted to let you know that she's a little sweetie, and is settling in extremely well. She has a lovely nature, is excellent with the litter tray (very neat and tidy, no accidents at all so far), and is feeding well. She's also got a new name - we've called her Bella - after my grandmother, who was my favourite person. She's also very beautiful, so it's very apt.

She's getting lots of love, and laps it up - she's very affectionate. Everyone who's seen her so far comments on how beautiful she is. I know you don't know anything about her background, but quite a few people have commented that she looks to have a little something oriental in her (even the vet asked me whether she was part Burmese!!).

We've been to the vet today for the second part of her inoculations, so I'm returning a copy of the adoption certificate with their signature and stamp, confirming this for you.

Also, I'm enclosing some pictures, so you can see just how beautiful and happy she looks. These were taken a couple of weeks ago, and already she's grown since then. She's got bigger and filled out a little more.

If ever you're in the area, you'd be very welcome to pop in and see how well she's doing.

Once again, very many thanks.

With warm regards and best wishes,

Jean Davies and Mark Kitto
